Interesting to see what people take away from writing activities -- it's always individual. I don't remember giving any take-home points, though I likely wanted to encourage the writers to value the idea-generating part of the process. New writers, I've found, often focus a bit too tightly on their main characters and fail to spend enough time on what's going to happen and why.  Or where, for that matter! 
Willycon is a great convention, btw. Intimate, friendly, informative. I recommend it.
